FHM beruft Vivecti-CEO Prof. Dr. Benjamin I. Behar zum Professor für Healthcare Innovation

Ulm, 28. Mai 2025. Die Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) hat Dr. Benjamin I. Behar zum Professor für HealthCare Innovationsmanagement und Kompetenzentwicklung berufen. Mit dieser Personalie stärkt die FHM ihre Ausrichtung auf zukunftsorientierte, praxisnahe Lehre und Forschung im Gesundheitsbereich.
Prof. Dr. Benjamin I. Behar bringt neben seinen umfangreichen Erfahrungen aus früheren Lehrtätigkeiten an der Freien Universität Berlin, der Universität Hamburg und der Hochschule Neubrandenburg auch seine in den vergangenen 20 Jahren gesammelte Expertise im Management stationärer und ambulanter Leistungserbringer sowie in der Entwicklung innovativer, technologiegestützter Dienstleistungen im Gesundheitswesen ein.
Er ist promovierter Betriebswirt mit langjähriger Erfahrung in der Beratung und Führung von Gesundheitseinrichtungen. Nach Stationen bei McKinsey & Company und dem erfolgreichen Aufbau einer bundesweiten privaten Klinikgruppe ist er seit 2023 CEO der Vivecti Group. Mit über 450 Mitarbeitenden und der Unterstützung von mehr als 3.000 stationären und ambulanten Einrichtungen ist Vivecti der führende Technologie- und Beratungspartner für Leistungserbringer im deutschen Gesundheitswesen.

Dafür bedarf es neuer Kompetenzen.“
Die FHM ist mit neun Standorten und einer eigenen Online-University eine der führenden privaten Hochschulen in Deutschland. Sie bietet unter anderem 45 akkreditierte Bachelor- und Masterprogramme mit hoher Praxisorientierung – darunter Physician Assistance (B.Sc.), Pflege & Management (B.Sc.), Hebammenwissenschaften (B.Sc.) sowie Digital Business Management (B.A.). Viele dieser Programme sind berufsbegleitend konzipiert und richten sich explizit an Mitarbeitende im klinischen Umfeld. Vivecti CEO Appointed Professor for Healthcare Innovation at FHM
Ulm, May 28, 2025 – The Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) has appointed Dr. Benjamin I. Behar as Professor of Innovation Management in Healthcare and Competence Development. With this appointment, FHM is strengthening its focus on future-oriented, practical teaching and research in the healthcare sector.
Prof. Dr. Benjamin I. Behar not only contributes his extensive teaching experience from previous positions at the Free University of Berlin, the University of Hamburg and the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, but also more than two decades of executive expertise in managing inpatient and outpatient healthcare providers and developing innovative, technology-driven healthcare services.
Holding a PhD in business administration, he has built a long-standing career in consulting and healthcare leadership. After working at McKinsey & Company and successfully establishing a nationwide private hospital group, he has been CEO of the Vivecti Group since 2023. With over 500 employees, Vivecti supports more than 4,000 inpatient and outpatient facilities and is the leading technology and consulting partner for service providers in the German healthcare sector.
