Dezember 2025 – Die Vivecti Group und die Compass Group geben heute bekannt, dass sie eine Vereinbarung über die Übernahme der Vivecti-Tochtergesellschaft Pro Care Management (PCM) durch Compass getroffen haben. Der Abschluss der Transaktion unterliegt noch behördlichen Genehmigungen und anderen Vollzugsbedingungen.

PCM zählt zu den größten unabhängigen Einkaufsverbünden (GPOs) für Lebensmittel in Deutschland und verfügt über umfassende Daten- und Technologiekompetenzen. Das Unternehmen bietet Beschaffungsdienstleistungen, Stammdatenmanagement und Software für Großküchen im Gesundheitswesen und anderen Branchen.

Die Compass Group, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen im Bereich Food Services, wird die geplante Übernahme nutzen, um ihre GPO-Strategie in Europa zu beschleunigen. Dies umfasst verstärkte datenbasierte Beschaffung sowie erweiterte Technologiekompetenzen – und schafft so eine noch stärkere Grundlage für weiteres nachhaltiges Wachstum.

Für die Vivecti Group, ein integriertes, technologiegestütztes Healthcare-Unternehmen, ermöglicht dieser Schritt eine noch stärkere Fokussierung auf das Kerngeschäft rund um medizinische Prozesse – insbesondere nach der angekündigten Übernahme des Sana-Einkaufsverbunds. Nach Abschluss der Transaktion werden die Vivecti Group und PCM ihre Partnerschaft fortsetzen: PCM bleibt bevorzugter Partner der Vivecti Group und bietet ihre Technologie- und Beschaffungslösungen weiterhin der Vivecti-Kundenbasis im deutschen Gesundheitswesen an. Für Kunden und Lieferanten von PCM ändert sich nichts – sie erhalten weiterhin das gewohnte Leistungsangebot.

Compass Group agrees to acquire technology- and data-led food GPO Pro Care Management from Vivecti Group

18 December 2025 – Vivecti Group and Compass Group today announce that they have agreed a deal for Compass to acquire Vivecti subsidiary Pro Care Management (PCM). Closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

PCM is one of the largest independent food group procurement organisations (GPOs) in Germany, supported by significant data and technology capabilities. The company provides procurement services, master data management and software to large‑scale kitchens in the healthcare sector and other industries.

Compass Group, a global leader in food services, will use the proposed acquisition to accelerate its GPO strategy in Europe. This will include enhanced data-led procurement and technology capabilities, providing an even stronger foundation for further sustainable growth.

For Vivecti Group, an integrated healthcare technology company, this deal allows a stronger focus on its core business around medical processes, following its announced acquisition of the Sana procurement alliance. Following closing of the transaction, Vivecti Group and PCM will continue their partnership, with PCM as Vivecti Group’s preferred partner offering its technology and procurement solutions to Vivecti Group’s client base in the German healthcare sector. Customers and suppliers of PCM can expect business as usual with an unchanged service offering.
