Ulm, November 17, 2025 – Prospitalia GmbH, part of the Vivecti Group and a leading purchasing consortium in the German healthcare sector, is expanding its executive management team with the addition of Dr. Mira Mandery. She will be responsible for key account management, marketing, operations, and consulting services aimed at optimizing product utilization.

Over the past two years, Prospitalia has undergone dynamic growth—in particular, the expansion of digital support products and the further development of its consulting services have been met with a very positive response from hospitals. By expanding its executive team, the company is responding to this growth while also signaling an even closer integration of procurement and medicine.

“We see ourselves as a new type of purchasing organization,” explains Prof. Dr. Benjamin Behar, CEO of the Vivecti Group. “The best possible prices are important and a necessary prerequisite for any optimization—but realizing potential savings can only be achieved through transparency and in dialogue with medical and commercial decision-makers at the hospitals. The decision to appoint a physician to Prospitalia’s executive board is a deliberate expression of this self-image.”

With Dr. Mira Mandery, Prospitalia gains an experienced consultant and licensed physician. In her previous role at the healthcare practice of a leading international strategy consulting firm, she supported service providers, payers, and international companies in the life sciences and medical technology sectors in developing and implementing their strategies. Prior to that, she earned her doctorate at the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University on the clinical outcomes of knee replacement surgery.

“Dr. Mandery understands the healthcare sector from a clinical perspective and thinks strategically and internationally. This addition is a real asset—for our clinics and suppliers—as it underscores our holistic approach to procurement and our understanding of partnership in healthcare,” explains Behar.

“For me, procurement is more than just negotiating favorable terms; it has a fundamental impact on the quality of care,” says Dr. Mandery. “I am very much looking forward to working with our partners on solutions that integrate medical quality and process costs and address them in a targeted manner.

In her new role, she will continue to develop the partnership with the clinics in a sustainable manner and drive Prospitalia’s strategic direction toward holistic care optimization.

Alexander Perske remains part of Prospitalia’s executive management and will continue to guide and shape the company’s development. In his role as COO of the Vivecti Group, he will also strengthen the group-wide integration of services and further drive the European expansion of our offerings. He is already very much looking forward to collaborating with Dr. Mandery and the clinics. “We have very different profiles and therefore complement each other perfectly. I am convinced that our clinic clients, our industry partners, and we as a company will all benefit equally from this addition, and that Dr. Mandery will bring new momentum to the management team,” emphasizes Perske.

With this expansion, Prospitalia is very well positioned to continue its growth trajectory and consistently pursue its goal: to create sustainable procurement solutions that combine cost-effectiveness, digitalization, and clinical expertise—tailored individually and precisely to the needs of the clinics.
